Tennis Summer Staff and After School Instructors

  1. Sleepy Hollow Swim & Tennis Club Summer Youth Tennis Instructor (Paid)- ages 14 and up
  • Working with youth ages 5 to 14 in the summer tennis program
  • Ability to organize daily tennis clinics, organizing lesson activities, and teach tennis basics
  • Tennis experience includes tournament and or high school playing experience
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Be familiar with 10 & Under Tennis Guidelines
  • Complete Net Generation FREE online training workshop.
  • Attendance at training sessions is required
  • Part-time position. No benefits.
  • Hourly wage, depending on experience, paid on a per class basis.
  • Position requires extended periods of time in the summer sun.
  1. After School Tennis Instructor- ages 14 and up
  • Assist Director of Tennis with junior tennis classes between 3 and 6:00 PM
  • Working with youth ages 5 to 16
  • Be familiar with 10 & Under Tennis Guidelines
  • Complete Net Generation FREE online training workshop.
  • Playing ability at the 4.5 to 5.0 level
  • Professional Association (USPTA or PTR) is recommended for those 21 and over.
  • This is a part-time position. No benefits.
  • Hourly wage paid on a per class basis
  1. Counselor in Training (Volunteer)- ages 13 and up
  • This is a volunteer, part time position assigned to a summer tennis camp instructor.
  • Work on the court assisting tennis instructor with daily tennis camps
  • You must be able to offer support and guidance to youth programs and help organize kids activities, taking direction from the court instructor.
  • Tennis experience a plus
  1. Junior Team Tennis Coordinator – Summer Team Tennis Program
  • The ideal person would be one who loves tennis, detailed oriented and is familiar with and energetic about the sport for junior-aged players. The ideal applicant is a team player, who will coordinate with local clubs and USTA NorCal Junior Team Tennis.
  • Assists Director of Tennis, weekdays from 10:00 – 4:00 PM.
  • Hourly wage, depending on experience.
